About this raise
Problem Crypto communities are good at creating assets, but bad at creating things people repeatedly do with them. After a token launches, most holder activity collapses into trading, posting, and watching charts. At the same time, many blockchain games bury the fun under NFTs, long progression systems, complicated economies, and onboarding friction. playMAYHEM is built for crypto-native players and token communities that want something immediate and competitive. Players should be able to connect a wallet, enter a match, make meaningful decisions, beat another human, and finish the experience within minutes. The larger problem is retention. Communities need repeatable activities that create rivalry, identity, and participation beyond speculation. Solution playMAYHEM is a wallet-native 1v1 arcade gamebuilt around short, best-of-three duels. Players choose from ten fighters, each with distinct stats, passives, abilities, and exclusive cards. Both opponents secretly select moves, reveal simultaneously, and fight through damage, defence, healing, bluffing, and counterplay. Equal stakes can be placed into escrow and the final result settled onchain. Our approach is deliberately simple: no NFT requirement, no grinding before you can compete, and no pay-to-win upgrades. The longer-term wedge is Community Arenas. Token communities will be able to launch branded arenas, fund tournaments, define competition rules, and let holders compete using their own community assets while playMAYHEM provides the combat, matchmaking, settlement, leaderboards, seasons, and tournament infrastructure. playMAYHEM starts as a game, but the goal is to become the competitive layer for token communities. Progress playMAYHEM already has a publicly accessible alpha at playmayhem.xyz We have built: · 10 original playable fighters with distinct abilities and playstyles · A complete card library with shared and fighter-exclusive cards · Best-of-three combat rules and simultaneous card selection · Wallet-based onboarding · Tiered match/stake flows · Matchmaking and battle interfaces · Leaderboard infrastructure · A full Card Codex and game documentation · Token economy and settlement architecture · Production deployment infrastructure and public website The core product experience is built and testable. The next milestone is hardening the complete multiplayer - escrow - match settlement loop and exposing real match activity, transaction history, volume, and retention metrics publicly. We are intentionally not presenting fabricated usage numbers before those users and matches exist. Token $MAYHEM is designed as a functional asset inside the competitive network rather than a token added after the game was built. Its primary uses are: · PvP competition: players can use $MAYHEM for equal-stake MAYHEM Arena matches, with funds escrowed until settlement. · Tournament access: selected ranked seasons, tournaments, and competitive formats can use $MAYHEM for entry and prize pools. · Game-driven sinks: a portion of applicable protocol fees can be burned or recycled into seasonal rewards and ecosystem incentives, linking token activity to actual gameplay rather than passive emissions. The token will not provide combat advantages. Holding more $MAYHEM will not make a fighter stronger or create a pay-to-win system. Use of Funds The raise will be used to take playMAYHEM from public alpha to a production-ready multiplayer game: completing the core match and settlement loop, deploying securely on Robinhood Chain, improving infrastructure and mobile UX, expanding game content, and launching Community Arenas for external token communities. The focus is simple: ship a reliable product, get real players competing, and grow playMAYHEM into a repeatable competitive platform for crypto communities.
