Platform fees

What launching and backing cost

There is no platform fee on tranche releases: founders receive every release in full. Launching takes a 0.01 ETH founder deposit, returned whether the raise succeeds or not, and backers pay only their contribution plus network gas.

How the fee is set

The escrow contracts support a per-raise fee, capped at 10%. A raise's rate is written into its escrow when it launches and no transaction can change it afterwards, so a raise that launches without a fee releases every tranche in full for its whole life. The rate is set to zero on Base and Robinhood Chain.

Frequently asked questions

Are there any hidden fees?

No. There is no platform fee on tranche releases, and network gas goes to the network, not Vibestarter.

Could a fee be added later?

Only for raises that launch after a change. Each raise's rate is fixed into its escrow at launch, capped at 10%, and cannot change for that raise.

Do backers pay any fees?

No. Backers pay only the contribution amount plus network gas.

Why does the $VIBES raise show a fee?

The platform's own $VIBES raise launched on an earlier contract generation with a fixed 2.5% fee per release. The platform is both its founder and the fee recipient, so it pays that fee to itself.
